RESOLUTION NO. 162 -1970
A RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND APPROVING CHANGE ORDER
NO. 1 FOR ADDING PROPOSED IMPROVEMENTS ONTO EXISTING STREET IMPROVEMENT
PROJECT ST. 1970 -1
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 161 -1970 dated 17th day of August, 1970 of the
City Council of the City of Fridley ordered the improvement for sidewalks on
the south side of Osborne Road and authorized preparation of final plans and
specifications.
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 100 -1970 adopted May 18, 1970 by the City Council
of the City of Fridley deleted sidewalks for West Moore Lake Drive under
Street Improvement Project St. 1970 -2,
WHEREAS, there has been some additional modifications needed in the
Street Improvement Project St. 1970 -1, and,
WHEREAS, the City of Fridley has an existing contract for Street
Improvement Project St. 1970 -1 with Minn -Kota Excavating Incorporated which
provides that the City can attach additional work up to 250 of the original
contract price.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Fridley,
Anoka County, Minnesota, as follows:
1. That plans and specifications for the sidewalk improvement along
Osborne Road are hereby received and approved.
2. That the attached Change Order No. 1 incorporating the additions
and changes for Street Improvement Project St. 1970 -1 is hereby
approved.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY THIS 17TH DAY
OF AUGUST, 1970.
