RESOLUTION NO. 192 -1970
RESOLUTION APPROVING FRONTAGE ROAD DETACHMENTS AT 57TH AVENUE AND
61ST AVENUE ON UNIVERSITY AVENUE (T.H. #47)
At a regular meeting of the Council of the City of Fridley duly held on
the 21st day of September, 1970, the following Resolution was offered by
Sheridan, seconded by Breider; to -wit:
WHEREAS the Commissioner of Highways has prepared preliminary plans for
the improvement of a part of Trunk Highway Number 156 renumbered as Trunk
Highway Number 47 within the corporate limits of the City of Frildey from 57th
Avenue N.E. to 61st Avenue N.E.; and
WHEREAS, said preliminary plans are on file in the office of the Department
of Highways, Saint Paul, Minnesota, being marked, labeled, and identified as
Layout No. 1, S.P. 0205 -07 (47 -156) frontage road detachment at 57 & 61st
Avenues N.E., and
WHEREAS copies of said preliminary plans as so marked, labeled, and
identified are also on file in the office of the City Clerk; and
WHEREAS, the term "said preliminary plans" as hereinafter used in the body of
this resolution shall be deemed and intended to mean, refer to, and to incor-
porate the preliminary plans as in the foregoing recitals particularly identified
and described.
NOW, THEN, BE IT RESOLVED, that said preliminary plans for the improvement I
of Trunk Highway Number 156 renumbered Trunk Highway Number 47 within the
limits of the City of Fridley be and hereby are approved.
Upon the call of the roll the following Councilmen voted in favor of the
Resolution No. 192 - 1970: Sheridan, Breider, Kirkham, Harris.
The following Councilmen voted against its adoption: None.
Whereupon the Mayor and presiding officer declared the Resolution adopted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY THIS 21ST DAY
OF SEPTEMBER, 1970.
