RESOLUTION NO. 221 -1970
A RESOLUTION ORDERING PRELIMINARY PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, AND
ESTIMATES OF THE COSTS THEREOF: STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
ST. 1971 -1 ADDENDUM NO. 1
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Fridley as follows:
1. That it appears in the interest of the City and of the property
owners affected that there be constructed certain improvements,
to -wit:
Street improvements, including grading, stabilized base, hot -mix
bituminous mat, concrete curb and gutter, water and sanitary sewer
services, storm sewer and other facilities, located as follows:
79th Way: East River Road to East Property Line of
Lot 4, Block 2, Pearson's 1st Addition
Lincoln Street: 79th .Way to_South 150 Feet
East Service Rd. of
East. River Road: Starting from 1,000 feet South of South
.leg of Interstate #694 Interchange N.E.
to railroad right of way.

2. That the City Engineer, Nasim M. Qureshi, City Hall, Fridley, Minn.
is hereby authorized and directed to draw the preliminary plans
and specifications and to tabulate the results of his estimates
of the costs of said improvements, including every item of cost
from inception to completion and all fees and expenses incurred
(or to be incurred) in connection therewith, or the financing
thereof, and to make a preliminary report of his findings,
stating therein whether said improvements are feasible and whether
they can best be made as proposed, or in connection with some other
improvements (and the estimated cost as recommended), including
also a description of the lands or area as may receive benefits
therefrom and as may be proposed to be assessed.
3. That said preliminary report of the Engineer shall be furnished to
the Council.
