A RESOLUTION DIRECTING PUBLICATION OF HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT ROLL
FOR STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT ST. 1969 -1
WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on April 20, 1970,
the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost
of street improvements, concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer syste,sani-
tary sewer and water services, and other facilities.
WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed
assessment roll has been completed and filed in his office for public
inspection.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, By the City Council of the City of
Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota, as follows:
1. The City Council shall meet at the City Hall in the City of Fridley,
Anoka County, Minnesota, on the 11th day of May, 1970, at 7:30 P.M.
to pass upon the proposed assessment for Street Improvement Project
St. 1969 -1.
2. The City Manager shall publish notices of the time and place of
meeting in the official newspaper of the City, at least two (2)weeks
' prior to such meeting.

NOTICE OF HEARING OF ASSESSMENT FOR ST. 1969 -1 STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
Notice is hereby given that the Council of the City of Fridley will meet at
the City Hall in said City on the 11th day of May, 1970, at 7:30 o'clock P.M.,
to hear and pass upon all objections, if any, to the proposed assessments in
respect to the following improvement, to -wit:
ST. 1969 -1 STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
The proposed assessment roll for each of said improvements is now on file
and open to public inspection by all persons interested, in the office of
the Clerk of said City.
At said hearing the Council will consider written or oral objections to the
proposed assessments for each of said improvements.
The general nature of the improvements and each of them is the construction
of street improvements including grading, stabilized base, bituminous sur-
facing, concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer systems, water and sewer
services, and other facilities located, as follows:
Polk Street: Lynde Drive to 323.46 Feet South
West Service Road of T.H. #65: Railroad Right of Way to 73rd Avenue
Skywood Court in Swanstrom's Court Addition
Riverview Terrace: Mississippi Place to Mississippi Way
Mississippi Way: East River Road to Riverview Terrace (So, of Fridley Park)
East Service Road of East River Road: Starting from 1,000 Feet South
of South leg of Interstate No. 694 Interchange N.E. to Railroad
Right of Way. (Tract J, Proposed Registered Land Survey)
66th Avenue: University Ave. Service Road East to Cal de sac
68th Avenue: 7th Street to Washington Street
Alden Way: 62nd Way to 200 Feet North
Jefferson Street: 67th Avenue to 680 Feet North
Washington Street: 67th Avenue to 500 Feet North of 68th Avenue
Seventh Street: 68th Avenue to 480 Feet North of 68th Avenue '
Fourth Street: 67th Avenue to Rice Creek Terrace
Rice Creek Terrace: Hwy. #47 Service Road to 68th Avenue
62nd Way: Riverview Terrace to East River Road
Longfellow Street: East River Road to 800 Feet West
Spring Brook Place: 79th Avenue to Longfellow Street
79th Avenue: Apex Lane to East River Road
T.H. #47 West Service Drive: Osborne Road to 350 Feet North
(North boundary line of proposed East Ranch Estates, Plat No. 1)
Washington Street: 57th Avenue to 58th Avenue
Street on South Side of Plat: 7th Street to Washington Street
Moore Lake Beach Parking Lot
The area proposed to be assessed for said improvements and each of them is
all that land benefited by said improvements or each of them and lying
within the general area of the above noted streets.
Said improvements will be assessed against the properties within the above
noted areas in whole or in part proportionately to each of the lands
therein contained according to the benefits received.
