' A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE LEASING OF PROPERTY TO THE FRIDLEY
VOLUNTEER FIREMEN'S RELIEF ASSOCIATION AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROVAL
OF PLANS, THE AWARDING OF CONTRACTS AND THE LEASING OF A BUILDING
TO BE BUILT BY THE FRIDLEY VOLUNTEER FIREMEN'S RELIEF ASSOCIATION
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka County,
Minnesota, as follows:
WHEREAS, the City of Fridley needs an addition to its municipal
garage; and
WHEREAS, the City of Fridley does not have sufficient monies for the
construction of said garage; and
WHEREAS, the City of Fridley acquired plans and specifications for
an addition to its municipal garage and had received bids for the
construction of said addition; and
WHEREAS, the Fridley Volunteer Firemen's Relief Association has
additional funds to invest.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Fridley is authorized
to lease said lands to the Fridley Volunteer Firemen's Relief Associa-
tion contingent upon the Fridley Volunteer Firemen's Relief Association
constructing said addition according to the plans and specifications
approved by the City of Fridley and upon the further contingence that
the Fridley Volunteer Firemen's Relief Association further agrees to
enter into a lease purchase agreement for said building with the City
of Fridley.
