RESOLUTION NO. 12 -1971
A RESOLUTION ORDERING PRELIMINARY PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS AND
ESTIMATES OF THE COSTS THEREOF: STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
ST. 1970 -41 ADDENDUM H3
BE IT RESOLVED, By the Council of the City of Fridley as follows:
1. That it appears in the interest of the City and of the property
owners affected that there be constructed certain improvements,
to -wit:
Street improvement including grading, stabilized base, hot mix
bituminous mat, concrete curb and gutter, and other facilities
located as follows:
78th Avenue :
Beech Street to Main Street
2. That the City Engineer, Nasim M. Qureshi, City Hall, Fridley,
Minnesota is hereby authorized and directed to draw the pre-
liminary plans and specifications and to tabulate the results
of his estimates of the costs of said improvements, including
every item of cost from inception to completion and all fees
and expenses incurred (or to be incurred) in connection therewith,
or the financing thereof, and to make a preliminary report of
his findings, stating therein whether said improvements are
feasible and whether they can best be made as proposed, or in
connection with some other improvements (and the estimated cost
as recommended), including also a description of the lands or
area as may receive benefits therefrom and as may be proposed
to be assessed.
3. That said preliminary report of the Engineer shall be furnished
to the Council.
