RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AIvD FINAL PLAN'S AND
SPECIFICATIONS AND ESTI'.iZ�TES OF COSTS T10"E01': STORM

VTFREAS, Resolution No. 78 -1971 adopted the 12th day of July, 1971
by the City Council, set the date for hearing on the proposed improvements, as sped
fically noted in the Notice of lIcaring attached hereto for reference as Exhibit "A ",
and
WIIERE'I;, all. of the property owners whose property is liable to be assessed
with the naki.ng of these improvements (as noted in said Notice) were given ten (10)
days notice. by mail and published notice of the Council. Hearing through two (2) weekly
publications of the required notice, and the hearing was held and the property owners
heard thereon at the hearing, as noted in said notice.
NOU, TIIEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka
County, Xii- mcsota, as follows:
1, That the following improvements proposed by Council Resolution No. 78 -1971
are hereby ordered to be effected and completed as soon as reasonably
possible, to wit:
Storm see --r and drainage facilities for drainage tributary to
ditches and drainage basins located as follows;
For the area bounded by an outline starting at the intersection
of East River Road to 79th Avenue, running East along 79th Avenue
to railroad tracks; thence running North along railroad tracks to
83-rd Avenue; thence East along 83rd Avenue to T.H. #47; thence .
South along T.H. #47 to Osborne Road; thence West along Osborne
Road to East River Road; thence North along East River Road to
point of beginning.
2. That work to be performed under this project may be performed under one
or more contracts as may be deemed advisable upon receipt of bids.
3. That the Comstock & Davis, Inc., Coesulti.ve Engineers, 1446 County Road J.,
Minneapolis are hereby designated as the Engineers for this improve-
ment. They shall prepare final plans and specifications for the making
of such improvement.
