RES 1971-18 - 0000861326 RESOLUTION NO. 18 -1971 A RESOLUTION APPROVING LAYOUT AND PROPOSAL FOR TRAFFIC SIGNALS AT T.H. #65 AND RICE CREEK ROAD At a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Fridley duly held on the 1st day of February, 1971, the following Resolution was offered by Harris, Councilman; seconded by Liebl, Councilman; to -wit: WHEREAS the Commissioner of Highways has prepared preliminary plans for the improvement of a part of Trunk Highway Number 5 renumbered as Trunk Highway Number 65 within the corporate limits of the City of Fridley from West Moore Lake Drive to 63rd Avenue N.E.; and WHEREAS said preliminary plans are on file in the office of the Department of Highways, Saint Paul, Minnesota, being marked, labeled, and identified as Layout No. 1, S.P. 0207 -14 (T.H. 65 =5) from West Moore Lake Drive to 63rd Avenue N.E.; and WHEREAS copies of said preliminary plans as so marked, labeled, and identified are also on file in the office of the City Clerk; and WHEREAS the term "said preliminary plans" as hereinafter used in the body of ' this resolution shall be deemed and intended to mean, refer to, and to incorpo- rate the preliminary plans as in the foregoing recitals particularly identified and described; NOW, THEN, BE IT RESOLVED that said preliminary plans for the improvement of Trunk Highway Number 5 renumbered Trunk Highway Number 65 within the limits of the City of Fridley be and hereby are approved except the City Council does not request the closing of 63rd Avenue crossover at this time. Upon the call of the roll the following Council Members voted in favor of the Resolution: Breider, Kelshaw, Kirkham, Liebl, Harris. The following voted against its adoption: None; whereupon the Mayor and presiding officer declared the Resolution adopted.
