RESOLUTION NO. 30 -1971
A RESOLUTION ORDERING PRELIMINARY PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS AND ESTIMATES
OF THE COSTS THEREOF: WATER, SANITARY SEWER AND STORM SEWER PROJECT
NO. 102
BE IT RESOLVED, By the Council of the City of Fridley as follows:
I. That it appears in the interest of the City and of the property owners
affected that there be constructed certain improvements, to -wit:
Water mains, sanitary sewer, laterals and service connections, storm
sewer and appurtenances
1. To serve the area bounded by 85th Avenue on the north, 79th Avenue
on the south, Railroad tracks on the west and University Avenue
(T.H. #47) on the east.
2. To serve all the lots in the proposed Al Rose Addition including
all the lots on Riverview Terrace and Alden Way.
2. That Comstock and Davis, Incorporated, Consulting Engineers, are hereby
authorized and directed to draw the preliminary plans and specifications
and to tabulate the results of their estimates of the costs of said
improvements, including every item of cost from inception to completion
and all fees and expenses incurred (or to be incurred) in connection
therewith, or the financing thereof, and to make a preliminary report of
their findings, stating therein whether said improvements are feasible and
whether they can best be made as proposed, or in connection with some
other improvements (and the estimated cost as recommended), including also
a description of the lands or area as may receive benefits therefrom and
as may be proposed to be assessed.
3. That said preliminary report of the Engineers shall be furnished to the
Council.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY THIS 15TH DAY
OF MARCH, 1971.
