A RESOLUTION REQUESTING METROPOLITAN COUNCIL TO CONTINUE
TO BE AN APPOINTED COORDINATING BODY OR THAT IT BE
ABOLISHED ALTOGETHER
WHEREAS, legislation has been introduced which would give
the Metropolitan Council many additional powers and would make
it an elective body; and
WHEREAS, this is contrary to the wishes of the Council of
the City of Fridley.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the
City of Fridley, that the Metropolitan Council continue to be
an appointed coordinating body or that the Metropolitan Council
be abolished.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY THIS STH
