RESOLUTION APPROVING AGREEMENT WITH STATE OF MINNESOTA RE:
FRONTAGE ROAD DETACHMENT ON T.H. #47 BETWEEN 57TH AND 61ST --
BE IT RESOLVED, that the City enter into an agreement with the
State of Minnesota, Department of Highways for the following
purposes, to -wit: to provide for the construction by the City
of Fridley, under contract, of Trunk Highway No. 47 frontage road
detachment along portions of 4th Street Northeast and 57th Place
Northeast and on new locations designated as "Frontage Road A"
and "Star Lane Frontage Road" and other associated construction
including revisions of the intersection approaches to the North-
bound Lanes of Trunk Highway No. 47 at 57th Avenue Northeast
and 61st Avenue Northeast and the revision of the traffic signal
systems at the Trunk Highway No. 47 intersections at 57th and
61st Avenues Northeast. In addition, the agreement provides for
the State to pay to the City its share of the costs of said
frontage road detachments and associated construction designated
by the State as State Project No. 0205 -25 (T.H. 47 =156)•
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and Clerk be and they
hereby are authorized to execute such agreement. (Cooperative
Construction Agreement No. 56865)
