RESOLUTION NO. 66 -1971
RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND FINAL PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ,
ESTIMATES OF COSTS THEREOF: WATER, SANITARY SEWER AND STORM SEWER
PROJECT #102
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 59 -1971 adopted the 17th day of May, 1971 by
the City Council, set the date for hearing on the proposed improvements, as
specifically noted in the Notice of Hearing attached hereto for reference
as Exhibit "A ", and
WHEREAS, all of the property owners whose property is liable to be assessed
with the making of these improvements (as noted in said Notice) were given
ten (10) days notice by mail and published notice of the Council Hearing
through two (2) weekly publications of the required notice, and the hearing
was held and the property owners heard thereon at the hearing, as noted in
said Notice.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Fridley,
Anoka County, Minnesota, as follows:
1. That the following improvements proposed by Council Resolution
No. 59 -1971 are hereby ordered to be effected and completed as
soon as possible to -wit:
Water mains, sanitary sewer, laterals and service connections,
storm sewer and appurtenances
1. To serve the area bounded by 85th Avenue on the North, 79th
Avenue on the South, Railroad tracks on the West and University
Avenue on the East.
2. To serve all the lots in the proposed Al Rose Addition including
all the lots on Riverview Terrace and Alden Way.
2. That work to be performed under this project may be performed under
one or more contracts as may be deemed advisable upon receipt of bids.
3. That Comstock and Davis, Inc., Consulting Engineers, 1446 County Road
J, Minneapolis are hereby designated as the Engineers for this
improvement. They shall prepare final plans and specifications for
the making of such improvement.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY THIS 21ST DAY OF
JUNE, 1971.
