A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE RE- CERTIFICATION
OF THE STORM SEWER PORTION OF THE ST. 1970 -1 STREET IMPROVE-
MENT PROJECT (Hickory street Area)
WHEREAS, the special assessments for the storm sewer portion
of the ST. 1970 -1 Street Improvement Project were withheld
pending determination of a lawsuit instituted by some of the
property owners involved, and
WHEREAS, a determination in favor of the City of Fridley has
been handed down by the Court on this storm sewer assessment,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the assessment for the
storm seveer portion of the ST. 1970 -1 Street Improvement
Project in the total amount of $13,751.05, may and shall be
recertified.
Such assessment shall be payable in nine (9) annual install-
ments payable on the first day of January in each year,
beginning in the year 1973, including an interest rate of
seven and one -half (7 1-5.) per cent per year on the unpaid
principal, and continuing until all of said installments
shall have been paid, each installment to be collected with
taxes collectible during said year by the County Auditor.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 16TH DAY OF OCTOBER ,
1972, BY ORDER OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRLAkY.
