RESOLUTION NO. 27 - 1972
A RESOLUTION OFFICIALLY PROTESTING THE 1972 SEWER BILL FROM THE
METROPOLITAN SEWER DISTRICT
WHEREAS, The City of Fridley. has initiated a law suit with the
intent to resolve the dispute on the 1971 sewer bill for the City of
Fridley, and
WHEREAS, The City of Fridley and the Metropolitan Sewer District
have entered into negotiations for the purpose of arriving at a
settlement for the 1971 sewer bill, and
WHEREAS, These negotiations have not as yet been concluded, and
WHEREAS, The question of the 1972 sewer bill is still open,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the Council of the City of
Fridley wishes to place the Metropolitan Sewer Board on notice that
it is the intention of the City Council to officially lodge a protest
as to the amount of the 1972 sewer bill.
