RESOLUTION No. 10 -1973
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PREPARATION OF THE '
REPORT FOR UPDATING OF FRIDLEY WATER FACILITIES
TO MEET THE ULTIMATE NEEDS OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY
WHEREAS, a number of preliminary reports and supplements to preliminary
reports, regarding the Fridley water utility have been submitted by Comstock &
Davis, Incorporated, the City's Consulting Engineers, starting October 1959,
which outlined the program for building the water system in the City;
WHEREAS, the last supplement to the water utility report was submitted
in August, 1969;
WHEREAS, there is a need for periodic review of our system to update
the facilities to meet the increasing demand;
WHEREAS, it has been over 13 years since a complete overall review of
the system was analyzed, so there is a need for a thorough review of our
present system and the future needs to meet the ultimate population of this
community.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fridley,
as follows:
1. That Comstock & Davis, Incorporated, Consulting Engineers, are
hereby authorized to update the existing reports and to prepare
a comprehensive plan for our water utility system.
