RESOLUTION 140 1973
A RESOLUTION ORDERING PRELIMINARY PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, AND ESTIMATES OF THE COSTS
THEREOF: STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT ST. 1974 -1 AND ST. 1974 -2 (MSAS)
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Fridley as follows: '
1. That it appears in the interest of the City and of the property owners affected
that there be constructed certain improvements, to -wit:
Street improvements, including grading, stabilized base, hot -mix bituminous mat,
concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer system, water and sanitary sewer services
and other facilities located as follows:
A. STREETS UNDER PROJECT ST. 1974 -1
1. 57th Place 4th Street to 7th Street
2. Squire Drive ) Harris Rice Creek Road to Mississippi Street
3. Dana Court ) Lake Estate Squire Drive East to Cul -de -sac
4. Camelot Lane ) Addition Arthur Street to the East
5. 73, Avenue Highway #65 East Service Road to Central Ave.
6. Bacon Drive Onondaga Street to 75th Avenue
7. Sunrise Drive 61st Ave. to T. H. #47 Service Road
8. Rainbow Drive Jupiter Drive to T. H. #47 Service Road
B. STREETS UNDER ST. 1974 -2 (MSAS)
1. Mississippi Street Central Avenue to Stinson Boulevard
2. Arthur Street Rice Creek Road to Mississippi Street
2. That the City Engineer, Nasim M. Qureshi, City Engineer, City Hall, City of
Fridley, Minnesota is hereby authorized and directed to draw the preliminary
plans and specifications and to tabulate the results of his estimates of the
costs of said improvements, including every item of cost from inception to
completion and all fees and expenses incurred (or to be incurred) in connection
therewith, or the financing thereof, and to make a preliminary report of his
findings, stating therein whether said improvements are feasible and whether they
can best be made as proposed, or in connection with some other improvements
(and the estimated cost as recommended), including also a description of the
lands or area as may receive benefits therefrom and as may be proposed to be
assessed.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY THIS 1ST DAY OF
OCTOBER , 1973.
