RESOLUTION NO. 66 -1973
A RESOLUTION IN OPPOSITION TO SENATE FILE 1933 RELATING TO
REGISTRATION BY PARTY DESIGNATION
WHEREAS, the City of Fridley has carefully considered Senate File
1933 relating to state -wide voter registration, and
WHEREAS, Senate File 1933 calls for the registration of voters by
party affiliation, and
WHEREAS, the registration of voters by party affiliation would re-
strict voting in primary elections.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Council of the City of Fridley
hereby goes on record as being opposed to Senate File 1933.
BE IT FUTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Fridley asks
that the Transportation and General Legislation Committee deny passage
of Senate File 1933.
