RESOLUTION NO. 25 1974
A RESOLUTION TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS - MOWING - SPRAYING — SERVICE
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fridley, as follows:
1. That it is in the interest of the City to award bid contracts for the
following service and materials:
MOWING- SPRAYING- SERVICE
2. A copy of the specifications for the above described service and materials,
together with a proposal for the method of purchase and the payment thereof
have been presented to the Council by the City Manager and the same are
hereby approved and adopted as the plans and specifications, and the
method o f acquisition and payment to be required by the City with respect
to the acquisition of said service and materials.
3. The purchase of said service and materials as described above shall be
effected by sealed bids to be received and opened by the City of Fridley on the
4th day of March, 1974. The City Manager is directed and authorized to
advertise for the purchase of said service and materials by sealed bid proposals
under notice as provided by law and the Charter of the CIty of Fridley, the
notice to be substantially in form as that shown by Exhibit "A" attached
hereto and made a part hereof by reference. Said notice shall be published
at least twice in the official newspaper of the City of Fridley.

Notice to Bid
MOWING - SPRAYING- SERVICE
The City Council of the CIty of Fridley, Minnesota, will accept sealed bids on
Mowing, Spraying Service on the 4th day of March, 1974, until 11:30 A.M. on said
date at the Fridley City Hall, 6431 University Avenue N. E., Fridley, Minnesota
55432.
This bid is for the mowing or spraying of lots and minor mowing preparation
cleanup of land areas and parcels of land when unsightly grass, weeds or noxious
growth exists in violation of the City of Fridley Code or Ordinances; or in violation
of the Minnesota State Statutes. Such mowing and cleanup or spraying to be accomplished
on order of the City Weed Inspector or Director of Public Works, based on mowing
notice to property owner or opon the terms of an agreement between the property
owner and the City of Fridley.
Information as to the terms and conditions and other data pertaining to the
bid may be obtained from the Office of the City Manager at 6431 University Avenue
N. E., Fridley, Minnesota 55432.
The bid must be in writing, sealed, and on the form prepared by the City. The bid,
is to be delivered or handed to the Office of the City Manager on or before 11:30
A.M. on i,larch 4, 1974. All bid envelopes must be clearly notated "Mowing and
Spraying Bid ".
