RES 1974-48 - 0000784590 RESOLUTION NO. 48 -1974 A RESOLUTION DIRECTING PUBLICATION OF HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT ST. 1973 -1 AND ST. 1973 -2 WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on April 15, 1974, the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost of street improvements, concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer systems, grater and sanitary sewer services, sidewalks, overlay, and other facilities. WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment roll has been completed and filed in his office for public inspection. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY, ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA, AS FOLLOWS: 1. The City Council shall meet at the City Hall in the City of Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota on the 13th day day of May, 1974 at 7:30 P.M. to pass upon the proposed assessment for STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT ST. 1973 -1 AND ST. 1973 -2 2. The City Manager shall publish notice of the time and place of meeting in the official newspaper of the City at least two (2) weeks prior to such meeting. LIEB LJ :r I RESOLUTION NO. 48 -1974 Page 2 Notice of Hearing CITY OF FRIDLEY ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA NOTICE OF HEARING OF ASSESSMENT FOR ST. 1973 -1 STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT Notice is hereby given that the Council fo the City of Fridley will meet at the City Hall in said City on the 13th day of May, 1974, at 7:30 o'clock P.M., to hear and pass upon all objections, if any, to the proposed assessments in respect to the following improvement, to -wit: ST. 1973 -1 STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT The proposed assessment roll for each of said improvements is now on file and open to public inspection by all persons interested, in the office of the Clerk of said City. At said hearing the Council will consider written or oral objections to the proposed assessments for each of said improvements. Said improvements will be assess against the properties within the above noted areas in whole or in part proportionately to each of the lands therein contained according to the benefits received. RESOLUTION NO. 48 -1974 Page 3 Notice of Hearing of Assessment for ST. 1973 -1 Street Improvement Project A property owner may appeal an assessment to the district court by serving notice of appeal upon the City Mayor or Clerk within twenty (20) days after adoption of the assessment and filing such notices with the district court within ten days after service upon the Mayor or Clerk.
