RESOLUTION 73 -1974
A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING ASSISTANT CITY MANAGER /PUBLIC SAFETY DIRECTOR AS THE
OFFICIAL APPLICANT SIGNATOR FOR FUNDS FOR REFUNDING REQUESTS FOR THE MINNESOTA
POLICE OFFICERS TRAINING BOARD
WHEREAS, The Minnesota Peace Officers Training Board have indicated that they
have funds to reimburse Municipalities and Counties for certain costs relating to the
training of peace officers, and
WHEREAS, The Minnesota Peace Officers Training Board requests that the City
Council designate someone from our unit of government as official applicant, unless
such action has already been taken during the past year, and
WHEREAS, the last resolution passed by the City Council on this subject was
October, 1970, and
WHEREAS, it does appear that the City of Fridley does qualify for this reim-
bursing program;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fridley that
it does designate its Assistant City Manager /Public Safety Director as the official
applicant signator pertaining to the requests for reimbursement of certain training
funds from the Minnesota Peace Officers Training Board.
