RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND FINAL PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
AND ESTIMATES OF COSTS THEREOF: STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT ST. 1976 -4
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 135 -1974 adopted on the 16th day of
Dec., 1974 by the City Council, set the date for hearing on the
proposed improvements, as specifically noted in the Notice of Hearing
attached hereto for reference as Exhibit "A ", and
WHEREAS, all of the property owners whose property is liable to
to assessed with the making of these improvements (as noted in said
Notice) were given ten (10) days notice by mail and published notice
of the Council Hearing through two (2) weekly publications of the
required notice, and the hearing was held and the property owners
heard thereon at the hearing as noted in the said notice.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of
Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota as follows:
1. That the following improvements proposed by Council Resolution
No. 135 -1974 are hereby ordered to be effected and completed
as soon as reasonably possible, to wit:
Street improvements, including grading, stabilized base,
hot -mix bituminous mat, concrete curb and gutter, storm
sewer system, and other facilities located as follows:
Mississippi Street East River Road to Second Street
2. That work to be performed under this project may be performed
under one or more contracts as may be deemed advisable upon
receipt of bids.
3. That the Public Works Director, Richard Sobiech, Anoka County
& their Engineers are hereby designated as the Engineers for
this improvement. They shall prepare final plans and
specifications for the making of such improvement.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY THIS 13TH DAY
OF JANUARY, 1975.
