A RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT, APPROVAL OF PLANS AND
ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS: STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT ST. 1976 -4
WHEREAS, Resolution #135 -1974 adopted by the City Council on
the 16th day of December, 1974 set the date for hearing on the improve-
ments, as specifically noted in the Notice of Hearing attached hereto
for reference as Exhibit "A ", and
WHEREAS, all property owners whose property is liable to be
assessed with the making of the improvements(as noted in said notice)
were given ten (10) days notice by mail and published notice of
the Council hearing through two (2) weekly publications of the
required notice, and the hearing was held and the property owners
heard thereon at the hearing, as noted in said notice, and
WHEREAS, Resolution # adopted by the City Council of
the City of Fridley ordered all of these improvements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of
Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota as follows:
1. That the following improvements proposed by Council Resolution
#135 -1974 are hereby ordered to be effected and completed as
soon as reasonably possible, to -wit:
Street improvements, including grading, stabilized base,
hot -mix bituminous mat, concrete curb and gutter, stdrm
sewer and other facilities, located as follows:
Mississippi Street - East River Road to Second Street
That the work involved in said improvements as listed
above shall hereafter be designated as:
STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT ST. 1976 -4
2. The plans and specification prepared by the Public Works
Director, Anoka County Engineers and their consultants for
such improvements and each of them, pursuant to the Council
resolutions heretofore adopted, a copy of which plans and
specifications are hereto attached and made a part hereof,
are hereby approved and shall be filed with the City Clerk.
3. The work to be performed under STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
ST. 1976 -4 shall be performed under one contract.
