A RESOLUTION SETTING AN ELECTION FOR COUNCILMAN WARD 1, AND COUNCILMAN WARD 111
WHEREAS, there will be a General Election in the City of Fridley on
November 4, 1975, and
WHEREAS, there is a requirement to hold an Election for the office
of Councilman in Ward 1 for a three year term, and Councilman in Ward 111
for a three year term.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that pursuant to the Charter of the
' City of Fridley (Chapter 4, Section 4.03 as amended), the Council hereby
provides for and calls the General Election of the City of Fridley to be
held in the City of Fridley on Tuesday, the 4th day of November, 1975, at
which election, electors of the City shall vote and cast a ballot with
respect to the office of Councilman in Ward 1 and Ward 111, and there-
after the candidates receiving the highest number of votes for each office
election shall be deemed the elected official for said offices, and
That the City Clerk shall give at least fifteen (15) days notice of
the time and place of holding such election, the names of the candidates
who have filed, and of the offices to be elected, by posting a notice
thereof in at least one public place in each voting precinct, and by
publishing a notice thereof at least once, prior to said General Election,
in the official newspaper of the City.
The polling places for said General Election shall be as follows:
