RES 1975-203 - 00007744J I RESOLUTION NO. 203 -1975 A RESOLUTION TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR WORKMAN'S COMPENSATION INSURANCE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Fridley, as follows: 1. That it is in the interest of the City to award bid contracts for the following items or materials. 2. A copy of the specifications for the above described items and materials, together with a proposal for the method of purchase and the payment thereof have been presented to the Council by the City Manager and the same are hereby approved and adopted as the plans and specifications, and the method of acquisition and payment to be required by the City with respect to the acquisition of said items and materials. 3. The purchase of said items and materials as described above shall be effected by sealed bids to be received and opened at 1:30 p.m. bythe City of Fridley on the 17th day of November, 1975. The City Manager is directed and authorized to advertise proposals under notice as provided by law and the Charter of the City of Fridley, the notice to be substantially in form as that shown by Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part of by reference. Said notice shall be published at least twice in the official newspaper of the City of Fridley. PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY THIS 3 RD ATTEST: DAY OF NOVEMBER MAYOR - W LLIAP NEE ILOY&1! 261 CITY OF FRIDLEY BID NOTICE FOR WORKMAN'S COMPENSATION INSURANCE FXHTRIT "A" The City Council of the City of Fridley, Minnesota will accept sealed bids for Workman's Compensation Insurance. Such quotations will be received by the City Manager's Office no later than November 17, 1975 until 1:30 P.M. on the said date at the Fridley City Hall, 6431 University Avenue Northeast, Fridley, Minnesota; telephone 571 -3450, for the term of January 1, 1976 to January 1, 1979. The City reserves the right to reject any quotations and to waive any irregularities or informalities in the bidding. Each bid shall be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, Cash or Bid Bond and made payable without conditions to the City of Fridley, Minnesota, in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the bid, which check, cash or bond shall be forfeited if bidder neglects or refuses to enter into Contract, after his bid has been accepted. The City reserves the right to accept the bid which is determined to be in the best interests of the City. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive any informalities or technicalities in any bid received without explanation. Copies of the specifications and general conditions may be examined in the office of the Purchasing Agent, or copies may be obtained from this office.
