RES 1975-206 - 00007748r�5 RESOLUTION NO. 206 -1975 RESOLUTION CONFIRMING REASSESSMENT OF STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 102 BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Fridley, Minnesota, as follows: 1. The City Clerk has with the assistance of the engineers heretofore selected by this Council for such purpose, calculated the proper amounts to be specially assessed for the REASSESSMENT OF STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 102 in said City against every assessable lot, piece, or parcel of land in accordance with the provisions of law, and has prepared and filed with the City Clerk tabulated statements in duplicate showing the proper description of each and every lot, piece, or parcel of land to be specially assessed and the amount calculated against the same. 2. Notice has been duly published as required by law that this Council would meet in special session at this time and place to pass on the proposed reassessment. 3. Said proposed reassessment has at all time since its filing been open to inspection and copying by all persons interested, and an opportunity has been given to all interested persons to present their objections, if any, to such proposed reassessment, or to any item thereof, and no objections have been filed; except 4. The amounts specified in the proposed reassessment are changed and altered as follows: ' 5. This Council finds that each of the lots, pieces, or parcels of land enumerated in said proposed reassessment as altered and modified was and is specially benefited by the REASSESSMENT OF STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 102 in the amount in said proposed reassessment as altered and modified by the corrective roll in the amount set opposite the description of each such lot, piece, or parcel of land, and that said amount so set out is hereby levied against each of the respective lots, pieces, or parcels of land therein described. By this resolution the Council orders the removal of the original and first reassessment rolls on the fifty -six parcels shown on the attached list and adopts the correct reassessment roll for these parcels for Storm Sewer Improvement Project No. 102. 6. Such proposed reassessment as altered, modified, and corrected are affirmed, adopted, and confirmed, and the sums fixed and named in said proposed reassessment as altered, modified, and corrected with the changes and altera- tions herein above made, are affirmed, adopted, and confirmed as the proper special reassessments for each of said lots, pieces, or parcels of land respectively. 7. Said reassessment so affirmed, adopted, and confirmed shall be certified to by the City Clerk and filed in his office and shall thereupon be and con- stitute the special assessment for the specific parcels involved for REASSESSMENT FOR STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. 102 Page 2, Resolution No. 206 - 1975 8. The amounts reassessed against each lot, piece, or parcel of land shall bear interest from the date hereof until the same have been paid at the rate of seven and one -half (7%) per cent per annum. 9. Such reassessment shall be payable in eighteen (18) annual installments payable on the 1st day of January in each year, beginning in the year 1976, and continuing until all of said installments shall have been paid, each installment to be collected with taxes collectible during said year by the I County Auditor. 10. The City Clerk is hereby directed to make up and file in the office of the County Auditor of Anoka County a certified statement of the amount of all such unpaid assessments and the amount which will be due thereon on the 1st day of January in each year. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilman , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same.
