RESOLUTION NO. 32 - 1975
A RESOLUTION TO PETITION THE METROPOLITAN COUNCIL TO REVISE
THE METROPOLITAN WASTE CONTROL COMMISSION'S SERVICE AREA 1
AND 2 BOUNDARIES WITHIN THE CITY OF FRIDLEY
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Waste Control Commission
(formerly the Metropolitan Sewer Board) approved the Comprehensive
Sewer Plan for the City of Fridley on November 7, 1973; and
WHEREAS, the City of Fridley has approved final plans
and specifications and awarded the contract for construction of
the relief sewer under Sanitary Sewer Improvement Project #113,
samd project being included in the approved Comprehensive Sewer
Plan, and will be completed approximately April 1, 1975; and
WHEREAS, the City of Fridley, coincidentally with const-
ruction of the relief sewer under Sanitary Sewer Improvement
Project #113, is required by Metropolitan Waste Control Commission
(MSB Resolution No. 73 -225 attached) to petition the Metropolitan
Council to amend the Service Area 1 and Service Area 2 boundary to
reflect areas tributary to each respective Service Area as affected
by Sanitary Sewer Improvement Project #113.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council
of the City of Fridley petitions the Metropolitan Waste Control
Commission to amend Service Area 1 and Service Area 2 boundaries
to reflect areas tributary to each respective Service Area affected
by construction of Sanitary Sewer Improvement Project #113 as
noted on attached revised drawings; Figures No. 4 and 5.
