RESOLUTION NO. 116 -1976
A RESOLUTION CANCELLING SPECIAL ASSESSMENT PAYMENTS DUE IN 1974, 1975
AND 1976 on LOTS 40, 45, 46, 50 AND 51, AUDITOR'S SUB. #92
WHEREAS, The City of Fridley had a bonifide agreement to ownership of
above mentioned lots; and
WHEREAS, The agreement stated that the City was responsible for payments
of special assessments due after 1973; and
WHEREAS, The former owner was in financial trouble and could not perform
on his delivery of a deed to the above property; and
WHEREAS, The owner agreed to allow the City to use said property as though
the City owned it; and
WHEREAS, The property has now been deeded to the City as per agreement
and the taxes have been abated for taxable year 1973 and subsequent years.
NOW, THEREFORE, The City of Fridley requests the Anoka County Board of
Commissioners to cancel the Special Assessment payments due on the above mentioned
lots for the years 1974, 1975 and 1976.
