A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE DEED OF EASEMENT AGREEMENT AND AUTHORIZING
THE EXCHANGE OF PROPERTY FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF OSBORNE WAY, 75TH
WAY AND ALDEN WAY
WHEREAS, the City Council has ordered certain improvements of Osborne
Way, 75th Way and Alden Way under Street Improvement Project St. 1977 -1
and St. 1977 -1; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the improvements will be in
the public interest, welfare and convenience to the people of the City of
Fridley; and
WHEREAS, to accommodate the referenced improvements, the City of
Fridley will enter into the Deed of Easement Agreement No.SPWW 1976 with
the Board of Water Commissioners of the City of St. Paul to exchange
certain easements and rights -of -way between the City and the Board; and
WHEREAS, it is a fair exchange of properties, as it will give the
City needed right -of -way to proceed with the improvements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of
Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota as follows:
1. The City Council of the City of Fridley accepts the above
mentioned Deed of Easement Agreement by this resolution.
2. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized to execute
the Deed of Easement providing for the exchange of properties
between the City and the Board.
