RESOLUTION NO. 21 -1976
A RESOLUTION ADOPTING A COMPREHENSIVE HOUSING
PLAN FOR THE CITY OF FRIDLEY, MINNESOTA
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Fridley recognizes
the importance of housing on the economic and social well -being
of the community, and; '
WHEREAS, comprehensive planning for housing will promote
realistic community goals for the present and future housing needs
of the community, and;
WHEREAS, the City Council has received input from the Planning
Commission and its member commissions and has provided for citizen
participation through the public hearing process.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City
of Fridley does hereby adopt the Housing Comprehensive Plan attached
as Exnibit A, as a supplement to the Comprehensive Development Plan
for the City of Fridley.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of
Fridley will periodically review, modify and update the plan in
order to provide a systematic implementation.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that each of the specific programs rec-
ommended under the policy development and implementation plan shall
be considered by the City Council for actual approval and implementa-
tion on an individual basis.
