A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PREAPPLICATION FOR COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANTS
WHEREAS, preapplications for Housing and Urban
Development Community Development Block Grant funds for
' fiscal year 1976 are now being accepted up to March 15,
1976; and
WHEREAS, the programs outlined in the Community
Development Block Grant preapplication are consistent with
the City of Fridley's comprehensive planning; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of
Fridley has held a public hearing on the preapplication and
has recommended to the City Council the approval of the
Community Development Block Grant preapplication; and

WHEREAS, the City Council has held a public
hearing for citizen input on the Community Development
Block Grant preapplication.
NOW,THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City
Council of the City of Fridley hereby approves the Community
Development Block Grant preapplication as on file in City Hall
and authorizes the City Administration to prepare a full
application for a $50,000 direct grant if invited to do so
by the Housing and Urban Development area office.
