RESOLUTION NO. 48 -1976
A RESOLUTION ORDERING PRELIMINARY PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, AND
ESTIMATES OF THE COSTS THEREOF: STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #120
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fridley as follows:
That it appears in the interests of the City and of the property owners
affected that there be constructed certain improvements, to wit:
Thatthe following listed properties which are creating a nuisance
are currently tax forfeit and under control of Anoka County, whose
Board of Commissioners has directed that improvements be made as
follows:
Grading, storm sewer and drainage facilities and related
appurtenances to Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 8 and 9 of Marion
Hills,2nd Addition, Block 1 and Lots 6, 12, 13, 14, 15,
and 16 and Parcel 500 of Marion Hills, 1st Addition,
Block 1 in the City of Fridley, according to the map or
plat thereof on record or on file in the Office of the
Register of Deeds in and for Anoka County, Minnesota.
2. That the Public Works Director, Richard Sobiech is hereby authorized and
directed to work with the Anoka County Highway Department to draw the
preliminary plans and specifications and to tabulate the results
of estimates of the costs of said improvements, including every item
of cost from inception to completion and all fees and expenses
incurred (or to be incurred) in connection therewith, or the
financing thereof, and to make a preliminary report of his findings,
stating therein whether said improvements are feasible and whether
they can best be made as proposed, or in connection with some other
improvements (and the estimated cost as recommended), including also
a description of the lands or area as may receive benefits therefrom
and as may be proposed to be assessed.
3. That said preliminary report of the Engineer shall be furnished to
the City Council.
