RES 1976-49 - 0000738091 RESOLUTION NO. 49 -1976 A RESOLUTION RECEIVING THE PRELIMINARY REPORT, RE- CEIVING MOTION FROM THE ANOKA COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISIONERS, AND WAIVING A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE MATTER OF THE CONSTRUC- TION OF CERTAIN IMPROVEMENTS: STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #120 WHEREAS, the construction of certain improvements is deemed to be in the interest of the City of Fridley and the property affected thereby. BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fridley, as follows: 1. That the preliminary report submitted by the City Engineer is hereby received and accepted. 2. That the City Clerk shall act to ascertain the name and address of the owner of each parcel of land directly affected or within the area of lands as may be proposed to be assessed for said improvements, and calculate estimates of assessments as may be proposed relative thereto against each of said lands. 3. That the area proposed to be assessed for said improvements and each of them are all the lands and areas to be assessed proportionately according to the benefits received. 4. That the estimates of assessments of the Clerk shall be available for inspection of any parcel of land as may be affected thereby. 5. That all property liable to be assessed with the making of the improvements are currently tax forfeit and under control of Anoka County, whose Board of Commissioners has directed that the improvements be made. Due to the nature of the tax forfeit properties and based on the attached motion from the Anoka County Board of Commissioners, the public hearing which is allowed under the normal procedures set forth in Min - nesota Statutes, Chapter 429 is hereby waived.
