RES 1976-50 - 0000738192 RESOLUTION NO. 50- 1976 A RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND FINAL PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ESTIMATES OF COSTS THEREOF: STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #120 WHEREAS, Resolution No. 49 -1976 adopted on the 14th day of June, 1976 by the City �ouncil, waived the public hearing on the proposed improvements; and WHEREAS, all properties liable to be assessed with the making of the improvements are currently tax forfeit and under control of Anoka County, whose Board of Commissioners has directed that the improvements be made. Due to the nature of the tax forfeit properties and based on the attached motion from the Anoka County Board of Commissioners, the public hearing which is allowed under the normal procedures set forth in Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429 is hereby waived. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota as follows: 1. That the following improvements proposed by Council Resolution No. 48 -1976 are hereby ordered to be effected and completed as soon as reasonably pos- sible, to -wit: Grading, storm sewer and drainage facilities and related appurtenances to: Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 8, and 9 of Marion Hills 2nd Addi- tion , Block 1 and Lots 6, 12, 13, 14, 15, and 16, and parcel 500 of Marion Hills, 1st Addtion, Block 1 in the City of Fridley, according to the map or plat thereof of record or on file in the Office of the Register of Deeds in and for Anoka County, Minnesota. 2. That work to be performed under this project may be performed by City forces or contracts as may be deemed advisable. 3. That the Public Works Director, Richard N. Sobiech, P.E., and the Anoka County Highway Department are hereby designated as the Engineers for this improve - ment. They shall prepare final plans and specifica- tions for the making of such improvements. ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY THIS 14th DAY OF JUNE, 1976. /v MAYOR - WILLf J.
