RES 1976-82 - 00007424RESOLUTION NO. 82 -1976 A RESOLUTION DIRECTING PUBLICATION OF HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 1976 -1 1 WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on August 16, 1976, the City Clerk was directed to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost of street improvements including grading,stabilized base, hot mix bituminous mat, concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer system, water and sanitary sewer services and other facilities. WHEREAS, the Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment roll has been completed and filed in his office for public inspection. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota, as follows: 1. The City Council shall meet at the City Hall in the City of Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota, on the 20th day of September, 1976 at 7:30 p.m. to pass upon the proposed assessment for STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT 1976 -1 2. The City Clerk shall publish notices of the time and place of meeting in the official newspaper of the City at least two (2) weeks prior to such meeting. BRUNSELL 137 1 3 3 8 RESOLUTION 82 -1976 CITY OF FRIDLEY ANOKA COUNTY, MINNESOTA NOTICE OF HEARING OF ASSESSMENT ST. 1976 -1 STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT Notice is hereby given that the Council of the City of Fridley will meet at the City Hall in said City on the 20th day of September, 1976, at 7:30 o'clock p.m., to hear and pass upon all objections, if any, to the proposed assessments in respect to the following improvement, to -wit: ST. 1976 -1 STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT The proposed assessment roll for each of said improvements is now on file and open to public inspection by all persons interested, in the office of the Clerk of said City. At said hearing the Council will consider written or oral objections to the purposed assessments for each of said improvements. The general nature of the improvements and improvements including grading, stabilized curb and gutter, storm sewer system, water facilities located as follows: each of them is the construction of street base, hot mix bituminous mat, concrete and sanitary sewer services and other 53a Avenue 7th Street to Madison Street 56th Avenue 4th Street to 6th Street 57th Place 4th Street to 7th Street 60th Avenue 5th Street to 7th Street 5th Street I. Way Riverview Terrace to the East (Henriksen Plat) The area proposed to be assessed for said improvements and each of them is all that land benefited by said improvements or each of them and lying within the general area above noted. Said improvements will be assessed against the properties within the above noted areas in whole or in part proportionately to each of the lands therein contained according to the benefits received. A property owner may appeal an assessment to the district court by serving notice of appeal upon the City Mayor or Clerk within twenty (20) days after adoption of the assessment and filing such notice with the district court within ten (10) days after service upon the Mayor or Clerk.
