RESOLUTION NO. 88 -1976
A RESOLUTION CANCELLING SPECIAL ASSESSMENT PAYMENT DUE IN 1971 ON PARCEL
10, N. 34.68 ACRES OF NE; OF SECTION 3
WHEREAS, The City of Fridley has purchased Parcel 10, Section 3
for Park purposes, and
WHEREAS, The agreement entered into with the property owner
stated the City was responsible for Special Assessments and taxes due
and payable after the date of sale, and
WHEREAS, The City has paid the assessments due in 1971,
NOW, THEREFORE, The City of Fridley requests the Anoka County
Board of Commissioners to cancel the Special Assessments showing on
their record in the amount of $474.64 for the year 1971 and Penalty
and Interest in the amount of $755.27. This leaves a balance of $1,455.80
for taxes and advertising.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY THIS 13TH
DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 1976.
