RESOLUTION NO. 120 -1977
A RESOLUTION REQUESTING ANOKA COUNTY PARTICIPATION IN THE
DEVELOPMENT OF AN EAST RIVER ROAD BIKE TRAIL
WHEREAS, the City of Fridley has submitted an application for
bikeway funds for the development of Phase I of the East River Road Trail;
and,
WHEREAS, the East River Road Trail is a part of the Anoka County
Trail System Plan; and,
WHEREAS, the estimated cost of Phase I of the East River Road
Trail is approximately $110,000; and,
WHEREAS, the grant application is for a 75% state; 25% local
participation in the trail development.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City
of Fridley that Anoka County be requested to share the local cost of
Phase I of the East River Road Bikeway Trail, if and when the application
for its development should be approved by the Minnesota Department of
Transportation.
