RESOLUTION NO. 59 - 1977
k A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CHANGING OF THE 1977 BUDGET APPROPRIATIONS
.WITHIN THE GENERAL FUND (SHADE TREE DISEASE CONTROL PROGRAM)
WHEREAS, The City Council has agreed to consider certain
expenditures beyond the amounts allocated in the 1977 Budget,
WHEREAS, A new Shade Tree Disease Control and Replacement Program
has been initiated by the State of Minnesota, Department of Agriculture,
for 1977,
WHEREAS, The State of Minnesota will reimburse the City of Fridley
forty -five percent of all its budgeted costs for Shade Tree Disease control
and fifty percent of replacement,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, By the City Council of the City
of Fridley meeting at a regular meeting on June 13, 1977, that the budget of
the following department shall be increased as follows:
Naturalist Department $40,000
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Budget of the following
department be decreased as follows:
Emergency Reserve $40,000
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY THIS 13TH
DAY OF JUNE , 1977.
