CONTINUATION OF THE BOAR� OF RE�IEW MEETING - MAY 15, 1978
Mayor Nee re-opened the Board of Review Meeting at 7 55 p.m. which had been
continued from May 8, 1978.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANGE
Mayor Nee led the Council and audience �n the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.

Fitzpatrick, Councilman Barnette and Councilman

Mr. Nasim Qureshi, City Manager
Mr. Mervin Herrmann, City Assessor
Mayor Nee stated the regular meeting of the City Council would convene, after
this meeting of the Board of Review.
Mr. Herrmann, City Assessor, submitted a report on the following �tems.
FRIDLEY TERRACE
Mr. Herrmann stated a representative from Fridley Terrace had contacted him
this past week regarding the assessments for Fridley Terrace. He stated,
after comparing the other mobile home parks in Fridley, the r2presentative
was convinced the assessment was equal as far as the City goes. He stated,
however, the people from Fridley Terrace plan to appear before the County
regarding this item.
SEARS•
Mr. Herrmann stated that Sears has not pursued the matter further regarding
their assessment.
GRAIN TERMINAL ASSOCIATION:
Mr. Herrmann stated that Grain Terminal Association has not contacted him
since last Monday, May 8, regarding thetr assessment although they would be
considered as appearing before the local Board of Rev�ew.
FMC:
Mr. Herrmann stated that FMC tndicated they needed mor�e time to present their
case, however, they wished to be on record as having protested the assessment
at the local Board of Rev�ew.
GERALD HERLOFSKY - 1365 HILLWIND ROAD•
Mr Herrmann stated their offtce recommends a$70D reduction in the value
from �46,2D0 to $45,500 relating to the valuation of a portton of the basement.
He stated action is necessary by the Board of Review �n order to reduce the
value.
MOTIDN by Councilman Schneider to reduce the assessed valuation by �700 on
property owned by Gerald Herlofsky at 1365 Hillw�nd Road. Seconded 6y
Councilman Barnette. Upon a voice vote, all voting aye, Mayor �lee declared
the motion carried unanimously.
MOTION by Councilman Hamerntk to close the puhlic hearing and ad�ourn the
Board of Review meeting. Seconded by Councilman Schneider. Upon a voice

vote, all voting aye, Mayor Nee declared the motion carried unanimously
and the Board of Review meet�ng ad,7ourned at 8:00 p.m.
