RESOLUTION NO. 14 -1978
A RESOLUTION ORDERING PRELIMINARY PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, AND ESTI-
MATES OF THE COSTS THEREOF: SANITARY SEWER AND WATER IMPROVEMENT
PROJECT #124
BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fridley as
follows:
1. That it appears in the interests of the City and of the prop-
erty owners affected that there be constructed certain im-
provements, to -wit:
Watermains, Sanitary Sewer Laterals with Service Connections,
and Appurtenances, located as follows:
Meyers Avenue: Burlington Northern Railroad Right -of -way
west to existing East River Road Right -of-
way
Hillcrest Avenue: Meyers Avenue to Hickory Drive
2. That the Public Works Director, Richard Sobiech, City Hall,
Fridley, MN, is hereby authorized and directed to draw the
preliminary plans and specifications and to tabulate the re-
sults of his estimates of the costs of said improvements,
including every item of cost from inception to completion
and all fees and expenses incurred (or to be incurred) in
connection therewith, or the financing thereof, and to make
a preliminary report of his findings, stating therein whether
said improvements are feasible and whether they can best be
made as proposed, or in connection with some other improve-
ments (and the estimated cost as recommended), including also
a description of the lands or area as may receive benefits
therefrom and as may be proposed to be assessed.
3. That said preliminary report of the Engineer shall be fur-
nished to the City Council.
