RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND FINAL PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ESTIMATES
OF COSTS THEREOF: STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT ST. 1978 -1
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 118 -1977 adopted on the 24th day of October, 1977,
by the City Council, set the date for hearing on the proposed improvements, as
specifically noted in the Notice of Hearing attached hereto for reference as
Exhibit "A ", and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka
County, Minnesota as follows:
1. That the following improvements proposed by Council Resolution No.
118 -1977 are hereby ordered to be effected and completed as soon as reasonably
possible, to wit:
Street improvements, including grading, stabilized base, hot -mix bituminous
mat, concrete curb and gutter, sidewalks, storm sewer system, water and
sanitary sewer services and other facilities located as follows:
3rd Street
58th Avenue to 60th Avenue
2. That work to be performed under this project may be performed under one
or more contracts as may be deemed advisable upon receipt of bids.
3. That the Public Works Director, Richard N. Sobiech is hereby designated as
the Engineer for this improvement. He shall prepare final plans and specifications
for making of such improvement.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY THIS 27TIl DAY OF FEBRUARY, 1978.
