RES 1978-84 - 00007177135 RESOLUTION NO. 84 -1978 A RESOLUTION ORDERING PRELIMINARY PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, AND ESTIMATES OF THE COSTS THEREOF: STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT ST. 1979 -1, STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT ST. 1979 -2 (MSAS) AND STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT ST. 1979 -4 (CSAH) BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Fridley as ' follows: 1. That it appears in the interests of the City and of the property owners affected that there be constructed certain improvements, to- wit: Street improvements, including grading, stabilized base, hot -mix bituminous mat, concrete curb and gutter, sidewalks, storm sewer system, water and sanitary sewer services and other facilities located as follows: St. 1979 -1 Capitol Street Main Street to Hughes Avenue 66th Avenue Central Avenue to Rice Creek School 70th Way East River Road to Hickory Drive Locke Lake Road East River Road to Hickory Street Hickory Street Locke Lake Road to 69th Way 63 1/2 Way East River Road East to Ashton Avenue 63rd Way East River Road East to Ashton Avenue 61 1/2 Way East River Road East to Ashton Avenue Ashton Avenue 64th Way to 61st Way Channel Road 68th Avenue to 360' North St. 1979 -2 61st Way East River Road East to Ashton Avenue 61st Avenue 4th Street to 7th Street Main Street Osborne Road to 77th Avenue Arthur Street Mississippi St. to Camelot Lane St. 1979 -4 Osborne Road Central Avenue to Stinson Boulevard 2. That the Public Works Director, Richard Sobiech, City Hall, Fridley, MN, is hereby authorized and directed to draw the preliminary plans and specifications and to tabulate the results of his estimates of the costs of said improvements, including every item of cost from inception to completion and all fees and expenses incurred (or to be incurred) in connection therewith, or the financing thereof, and to make a preliminary report of his findings, stating therein whether said improvements are feasible and whether they can best be made as proposed, or in connection with some other improvements (and the estimated cost as recommended), including also a description of the lands or area as may receive benefits therefrom and as may be proposed to be assessed. 3.
