RESOLUTION NO. 71 -1979
RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMNT AND FINAL PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
AND ESTIMATES OF COSTS THEREOF: STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
ST. 1979 -1, ADDENDUM #3
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 60 -1979 adopted on the 23rd day of April 1979
by the City Council, set the date for hearing on the proposed improvements,
as specifically noted in the notice of Hearing attached thereto for reference
as Exhibit "A ", and
WHEREAS, all of the property owners whose property is liable to be assessed
with the making of these improvements (as noted in said Notice) were given then
(10) days notice by mail and published notice of the Council Hearing through
two (2) weekly publications of the required notice, and the hearing was held
and the property owners heard thereon at the hearing as noted in the said notice.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Fridley,
Anoka County, Minnesota as follows:
1. That the following improvements proposed by Council Resolution No.
59 -1979 are hereby ordered to be effected and completed as soon
as reasonably possible, to wit:
Street improvements, including grading, stabilized base, hot -mix
bituminous mat, concrete curb and gutter, sidewalks, storm sewer
system, water and sanitary sewer services and other facilities
located as follows:
Alley in Hyde Park Between 59th and 60th Avenues
and 2nd and 2, Streets
2. That work to be performed under this project may be performed under
one or more contracts as may be deemed advisable upon receipt of bids.
3. That the Public Works Director, Richard N. Sobiech is hereby
designated as the Engineer for this improvement. He shall
prepare final plans and specifications for the making of such
improvement.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY THIS 14th DAY OF MAY,

NOTICE OF HEARING ON IMPROVEMENTS
STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT ST. 1979 -1, ADDN. #3
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota
has deemed it expedient to receive evidence pertaining to the improvements
hereinafter described.
NOW, THEREFORE, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT on the 14th day of May, 197°
at 7:30 o'clock P.M. the City Council will meet at the City Hall in said City,
and will at said time and place hear all parties interested in said improvements
in whole or in part.
The general nature of the improvements is the construction (in the lands
and streets noted below) of the following improvements, to -wit:
CONSTRUCTION ITEM
Street improvements, including grading, stabilized base, hot -mix
bituminous mat, concrete curb and gutter, sidewalks, storm sewer
system, water and sanitary sewer services and other facilities
located as follows:
Alley in Hyde Park Between 59th and 60th Avenues
and 2nd and 2 %2 Streets
ESTIMATED COST . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .$2,700.00
THAT THE AREA PROPOSED TO BE ASSESSED FOR SAID IMPROVEMENTS IS AS FOLLOWS
For Construction Item above --------------------------------- - - - - --
All of the land abutting upon said streets named above and all lands
within, adjacent and abutting thereto.
All of said land to be assessed proportionately according to the
benefits received by such improvement.
Taht should the Council proceed with said improvements they will consider
each separate improvements, except as hereafter otherwise provided by the
Council all under the following authority, to -wit: Minnesota Statutes 1961,
Chapter 429 and laws amendatory thereof, and in conformity with the City Charter.
