SEPARATING PRECINCT 3 OF WARD 2 INTO TWO VOTING DISTRICTS
AND DESIGNATING POLLING PLACES THEREFOR
WHEREAS a primary election will be held in Precinct 3 of Ward 2 on September
9, 1980; and
WHEREAS a general election will be held in Precinct 3 of Ward 2 on November
4, 1980; and
WHEREAS the boundaries of Precinct 3, Ward 2 were set on the basis of the
1970 population census, in accordance with State law; and
WHEREAS State law does not provide for a change in precinct boundaries until
after the 1980 population census is completed;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that Precinct 3, Ward 2 be separated
into two voting districts, to -wit: Precinct 3 -A lying north of a dividing
line commencing at Highway 65 and Central Avenue, east on Hackman Avenue to
Hathaway, east on Hathaway extended to Matterhorn Drive, south on Matterhorn
Drive to North Innsbruck Drive, east on North Innsbruck Drive to the eastern
City boundary; and Precinct 3 -B lying south of said dividing line, for
purposes of the September 9, 1980 primary election, and the November 4, 1980
general election.
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that the following locations shall serve as polling
places for the Precinct 3, Ward 2 voting districts:
Precinct 3 -A, Ward 2
Gardena Elementary School
1401 Gardena Avenue NE
Fridley, MN 55432
Precinct 3 -B, Ward 2
North Park Elementary School
5575 Fillmore Street NE
Fridley, MN 55432
