RES 1980-64 - 0000651496 RESOLUTION NO. 64 - 1980 A RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND FINAL PLANS AND SPECI- FICATIONS AND ESTIMATES OF COSTS THEREOF: STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. St. 1980 - 2 WHEREAS, Resolution No. 50 - 1980 adopted on the T9th'day'bf May 1980, set the date of hearing on the improvement for June 9, 1980. WHEREAS, all of the property owners along 81st Avenue from Main Street to University Avenue whose property is liable to be assessed with the making of the improvements were given ten (10) days notice by mail and published notice of the Council Hearing through two (2) weekly publications of the required notice, and the hearing was held and the property owners heard thereon at the hearing as noted in the said notice. WHEREAS, one hundred percent (100 %) of the property owners along 81st Avenue from Hickory Street to Beech Street and along Hickory Street from 81st Avenue to 800 Feet North whose property is liable to be assessed with the making of these improvements have signed a petition requesting the improvements and waiving the public hearing. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY, MINNESOTA: 1. That the following improvements proposed by Council Resolution No. 62 - 1980 are hereby ordered to be effected and completed as soon as reasonably possible, to -wit: Street improvements, including grading, stabilized base, hot -mix bituminous mat, concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer and drainage system, water and sanitary sewer laterals and services and other facilities located as follows: 81st Avenue Main Street to University 81st Avenue Hickory Street to Beech Street Hickory Street 81st Avenue to 800' North 2. That work to be performed under this project may be performed under one or more contracts as may be deemed advisable upon receipt of bids. 3. That the Public Works Director, John G. Flora is hereby designated as the Engineer for this improvement. He shall prepare final plans and specifications for the making of such improvement.
