RESOLUTION NO. 69 - 1980
A RESOLUTION ENCOURAGING THE ANOKA COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
TO ACQUIRE COMPUTERIZED TAX PACKAGE
WHEREAS, the City of Fridley would benefit from the computerization of its
many appraisal and tax collection functions; and,
WHEREAS, the County of Anoka would have the overall responsibility for
computerizing the assessing and tax collection functions; and,
WHEREAS, the Anoka County Board of Commissioners, and its staff are currently
considering the acquisition of a software package that would fulfull the need
for accurate and timely reports, and tax statements;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Fridley
encourages the Anoka County Board of Commissioners and their staff to proceed
with the acquisition, installation and implementation of said software
package.
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that copies of this resolution be forwarded to Mr.
Albert A. Kordiak, Chairman of the Anoka County Board of Commissioners.
