RESOLUTION NO 74 - 1980
A RESOLUTION REQUESTING AN EXTENSION OF THE DUE DATE OF
FRIDLEY'S COMPREHENSIVE PLAN FOR SUBMITTAL TO THE METROPOLITAN
COUNCIL
WHEREAS, the City of Fridley has completed a draft of the Fridley
Comprehensive Plan as required by the Metropolitan Act passed by the
Minnesota State Legislature in 1976; and
WHEREAS, the City of Fridley has fulfilled its requirements for public
hearings as layed out in said Act; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission and City Council have approved the draft for
the Fridley Comprehensive Plan for submittal to adjacent communities for
reveiw; as of March 20, 1980; and
WHEREAS, the City of Fridley realizes the time period of 6 (six) months
allowed for review by adjacent communities will exceed the present due date.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY that
due date for Fridley's Comprehensive Plan be requested from the Metropolitan
Council to November 1, 1980.
