A RES(EAPIM AMENDING AND CLARIFYING THE NORTH AREA
TAX INCREMENT PLAN
MH REW , the North Area Tax Increment Plan has been submitted to Anoka
County for certification of original assessed value; and
WHEREAS, Anoka County has requested clarification on three items in the
plan incuding:
1. The option of increment computation.
2. The portion of captured assessed value intended to be used
for the purpose of tax increment financing.
3. Parcel R 03- 30 -24 -13 -0013.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Fridley
that the following clarification is made.
1. That the City has elected the "clause (b) option" of the tax
increment computation as originally stated in the North Area
Tax Increment Plan and will be reflected in certification
application.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the North Area Tax Increment Plan is approved
as amended with the following changes as submitted.
1. That the plan be amended by adding "The district will retain
100% of the captured assessed value as determined necessary
to finance or otherwise make permissible expenditures under
section 273.75." to paragraph five page 6.
2. That the plan be amended to remove parcel R 03- 30 -24 -13 -0013
from the legal description on page four of the plan to
correspond with the district map.
