RESOLUTION NO. 26 - 1981
A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE SIGNING OF A
MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT ESTABLISHING SALARIES FOR EMPLOYEES
OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY FIRE DEPARTMENT FOR THE YEAR 1981
WHEREAS, the International Association of Fire Fighters Local No. 1986, as
bargaining representative of the Firemen of the City of Fridley Fire
Department, has entered into a contract with the City Council for the years
1980 and 1981; and
WHEREAS, said contract provides that wages for 1981 shall be negotiated in
1981; and
WHEREAS, Representatives of the Union and the City have met and negotiated
regarding the requests of the Union and the City; and
WHEREAS, Agreement has now been reached between representatives of the two
parties on the proposed changes in existing contract between the City and the
Union.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council that the Mayor and the
City Manager are hereby authorized to execute the attached Memorandum of
Agreeement (Exhibit A) relating to wages for the year 1981.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY THIS 9TH DAY OF
MARCH, 1981.

MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT
This memorandum of agreement dated
this 9th day of March, 1981
between the
City of Fridley and Local 1986 of
the International Association
of Fire
Fighters representing the Fridley
Fire Fighters is hereby accepted
by the
parties of the agreement and contract
in force during 1981.
The salaries of the fire fighters
represented by the International
Association of Fire Fighters Local
1986 shall be as follows:

This agreement shall be in effect
immediately and shall remain
in full force
and effect until December 31, 1981. In witness thereof, the parties have
hereto signed the agreement on this
