RES 1981-29 - 0000617052 RESOLUTION NO. 29 - 1981 A RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND FINAL PLANS AND SPECI- FICATIONS AND ESTIMATES OF COSTS THEREOF: STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NO. WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Council adopted February 9, 1981, a report has been prepared with the reference to the improvement, and this report was received by the Council February 9, 1981; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FRIDLEY, MINNESOTA: 1. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the Council resolution adopted March 9, 1981. 2. John G. Flora is hereby designated as the Engineer for this improvement. He shall prepare plans and specifications and estimates of costs thereof for the making of such improvements. ATTEST: CITY- SIDNEY 1239A d Exhibit "A" 5-1 NOTICE TO BIDDERS WATER AND SANITARY SEWER PROJECT NO. 133 Sealed bids will be received and publicly opened by the City of Fridley, Anoka County, Minnesota, at the office of the Public Works Director, 6431 University Avenue N.E., Fridley, Minnesota 55432 (Tel. 571 -3450) on the 7th day of April, 1981, at 11:00 a.m., and will be considered by the City Council of the City of Fridley at a regular Council Meeting at 7:30 p.m. on the 13th day of April, 1981, for the furnishing of work and materials for WATER AND SANITARY SEWER PROJECT NO. 133. 1,100 Cu. yds. Common Excavation 430 Ton Bituminous - 2341 110 Lin. Ft. 8" P.V.C. 1,510 Lin. Ft. 6" D.I.P. or 6" P.V.C. for Water Main All in accordance with the plans and specifications prepared by John G. Flora, P.E., Public Works Director, Fridley City Hall, 6431 University Avenue N.E., Fridley, Minnesota 55432 (Tel. 571- 3450). Plans and specifications may be examined at the office of the Public Works Director and copies may be obtained for the contractor's individual use by applying to the Public Works Director and depositing with the Public Works Director $25.00 for each set. The deposit will be refunded to each bidder submitting a bonafide bid upon return of the documents in good condition within ten (10) days from the bid opening date. Bids must be made on the basis of cash payment for work, and accompanied by a cash deposit, certified check (on a responsible bank in the State of Minnesota) or a bidder's bond and made payable without condition to the City of Fridley, Minnesota, in an amount of not less than 5% of the total amount of the bid. The City Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities in any bids received without explanation. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days.
