UMMERS, the City Clerk of the City of Fridley has reported that four
candidates have filed with his office for election to the Office of
Camct member for the Third Ward.
WW, 2HCPZFM# BE IT REBOEMMr that pursuant to the Charter of the City
of Fridley (Chapter 4r Section 4.03), the Council hereby provides for and
calla the Primary Election of the City of Fridley to be in the City of
Fridley an Tuesday, the 15th day of September 19811 at which election,
electors of the City shall votge and cast a ballot with repsect to the
office of Councilmember for the Third Ward, and thereafter the two
candidates receiving the highest rnmber of votes for such office at such
election, shall be deemed the candidates for the office to be voted upon
at the regular forthoomirg General Election to be held on November 3, 1981
That the City Clerk shall give at least 15 days notice of time and places
of holding such election, the names of the candidates who have filed, and
of the office to be elected, by posting a notice thereof in at least one
public place in each voting precinct, and by publishing a notice thereof
at least once, prior to said Primary Election, in the official newspaper
of the City.
The polling places for said Primary Election shall be as follows:
Ward 3 Precinct 1 Riverwood School
7150 East River Road
Ward 3 Precinct 2 Stevenson School
6080 East River Road
Ward 3 Precinct 3 Roslyn Park Wesleyan Church
5300 Sixth Street Northeast
That the polling places will be open from 7 :00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on said
date.
